Unable to find a system property

Hello,

I'm unable to find a system property related to discovery named - glide.discovery.adm.update.applications in System property (sys_property.list). My instance version is Tokyo. The Servicenow doc states that it's there in Tokyo version, but then why can't I witness it in the system property.

Any insights on it would be appreciated.

Regards,

Priyanka.

No it simply doesn't exist in your instance and because of that the system just assumes a default value.  You can see the default value the system uses when it does not exist here

https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/utah-it-operations-management/page/product/discovery/refere...

There is no record hidden from you, if you are an admin and cannot find it then it does not exist and the system assumes a default.

Not all system properties in the Doc's will exist in your instance.  When they do not exist the system usually has a default it uses.  So you should just create it and set it to whatever you need it set to if the default is not what you need.

Hi Drew,

That was helpful. Much appreciated. Just one last clarification required- so basically the property I mentioned is existing and it's set to true by default but it won't be visible to me. Is that correct?
