Hello Everyone,

The email with following subject is triggering : "FAILED: A CMDB Data Manager policy has failed to run".

We have found the notification "Policy Evaluation Failed" . In the when to send section , send when is selected as " event is fired" and event name is "cmdbdatamanager.evaluation.failed" .

But we are not able to find from where this event is triggering. I have checked all the script , business rules , scheduled job.

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi @stormy 12 ,

The "cmdbdatamanager.evaluation.failed" event is fired when a policy evaluation fails in the CMDB Data Manager application. The most likely cause of this event being triggered is a policy that is failing to run correctly.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can start by reviewing the CMDB Data Manager policies that are configured in your instance. Check to see if any of these policies are failing to run correctly. You can also check the CMDB Data Manager logs to see if any errors or warnings are being generated when the policies are running.

If you are unable to identify the source of the issue through these methods, you can try enabling debugging on the CMDB Data Manager application to see if any additional information is being logged.

If my response was helpful in resolving the issue, please consider accepting it as a solution by clicking on the Accept solution button and giving it a thumbs up 👍. This will benefit others who may have a similar question in the future.
