Dear All,
Need your advise, I have created a custom application in Dev using the Application Studio. This is my first time to use it, as I understand, once your done with the custom application you need to publish it in My Repository for it to become available in all the instance by default or you can control the entitlements in the https://apprepo.service-now.com/.
My challenge is that, after I publish the custom app in My Repository and check in Production. I saw the custom app but it was in "In Development" tab so I can't install it. My question is, is there a propagation or grace period before the apps published can be installed?
Please see screenshot:
The name of the app is Globe Device Type Approval.
Many thanks in advance!

According to serviceNow support reloy, the instance where the imported application will be something like development instance. after publish the application, all other entitled instances will be installation instances which will be able to see the application and click install button. But the development instance will stay there without change. If you want to change development instance to installation instance, you will need the help of serviceNow support team.

I appreciate this post is old however I recently experienced the same issue when trying to promote my application from Dev instance to Test instance. I had to click into the Application and then select the "Convert to application repository mode" related link which removed the "Edit in studio" button and allowed me to install the app.
Hopefully this helps someone in future.

Thank you! Just what I needed. I had installed it in production, then later decided to push it to Application repository.
