Unable to login to Personal Dev Instanace

I'm trying to log in to my PDI : https://dev328483.service-now.com/login.do, however, I'm getting this error User name or password invalid. To reset your admin password, click here. Please note this is different than the credentials used to sign in to the Developer Site.

I went to Profile > Manage instance password > Reset Instance Password.

I tried the newly generated password, however, it still gives me the same error.

I already waited more than 1 hour now, but still no go.

Hi @leroyv

Check Your Profile Settings
First, verify your profile configuration on the developer site. Go to https://developer.servicenow.com, click on your profile, and ensure your user role is set to "admin" rather than "Creator User". Sometimes the profile can get switched to Creator User, which causes login issues and takes you to a generic environment instead of your personalized PDI.

Verify Instance Status
Check your "My Instance" page on the developer site to confirm your PDI isn't undergoing maintenance or hasn't been recycled5. If your instance hasn't been used for over 10 days, it may have been returned to the pool, which would explain the login issues.

Alternative Password Reset Method
Instead of using the "Reset Instance Password" option, try using the "Generate new instance login credentials" feature in the Manage Instance Password section. This creates entirely new credentials rather than just resetting the existing password.

Clear Browser Data
Clear your browser cache, cookies, and stored passwords for ServiceNow domains. Sometimes cached credentials can interfere with the new password authentication.

Try Incognito/Private Mode
Attempt to log in using an incognito or private browser window to eliminate any browser-related authentication conflicts.
