Unable to map roles to the user profiles

Hi All,

I have created couple of users for testing and trying to map the roles to their profiles. The roles I am trying to map include the compliance user and compliance manager role for the new user profiles created. I have admin and the security_admin role for my profile. Somehow the roles were not mapped. Any suggestions?

What is the error you see while mapping the roles?

Hi,
Thanks for your prompt response. We are not receiving any error. For instance, I am trying to map the compliance admin role to the user and clicked save. We will be redirected to the user profile but the role is not mapped. Not only for this role, we are not able to map any role to any user profile directly. 
FYI
After PDI data center migration, today only I got the new PDI. This is purely OOB instance.

Instead, can you try going to the role record and adding the User from 'Users' related list

Can you provide more information on this? Also attach screenshots of the error you are getting, for better understanding.
