We are trying to add a custom metric to a survey but the data is not being persisted, I feel we are missing a fundamental step in our working and hope someone can nudge us in the right direction.
We have added a custom metric called "Star rating", we have added a macro called "5-star rating"
The macro does as the name suggests and shows a horizontal list of stars to choose from based on the rating to be given. I have added the code as an attachment.
When designing the survey we can select the component, we see it functioning in the preview and it seems to work when taking a survey. However, the numerical value of said component is not being persisted whereas other OOTB components are working well.
As I said I feel we may be missing a step to map this to the table in some way bit cannot find any info on this.
We are working with Vancouver but same issue on earlier versions.
