unable to write a script in scheduled script execution

Im new to Service now and i was trying to create a scheduled Script execution. But im unable to write any script in the Run this Script area, It shows " Cannot edit Read only editor". Any idea what is wrong here?

As per the screen shot you are trying to update a record. When you try to update the OOTB records it will give the specific error. Please try to create a new record by clicking on New button.

the screenshot you shared is for new record or you opened an existing record?

did you try to clear instance cache using cache.do and then logout and login again?

you are creating in which scope?
