Update sc_categories in Service Portal

Hi, 

My requirement is, In sc_categories page I want to show only only 2 categories (like software, office) and hide remaining all categories. How can I achieve that?

Please help me with it.

Hello @VullankiL ,

 

Have you tried setting up 'Not available for' (applicable to specific set of users) OR Active = false (applicable to all users) in the sc_category table record?

Steps - App. Navigator > sc_category.LIST > Open category record > Set ''active = false" or restrict availability as needed > Save.

Yes @ShubhamGarg, in sc_categories table all categories are active only,and in platform side also, in service catalog I want to visible all categories.

 

But in service portal, when I open catalog to raise some request or order something, In sc_categories widget. I want to show only 2 categories(software, office). Only on service portal side, not making entirely inactive.

Yes @HARSHA GOWDA R, in sc_categories table all categories are active only,and in platform side also, in service catalog I want to visible all categories.
