Updating html link added text box

hi all - looking for some help on this - I merely updated an existing link on an existing form and ended up with a big text box showing up on the form next to the link.  Anyone know how to get rid of that?

Hi @ginnyk991,

What happens if you remove the link and save the form?  Does the box disappear?
Try previous/different link.  Do you get the same result?
If you only get the box with your new link.  Validate the link is good.

As it is a HTML type field, you will see the HTML editor being displayed. If you just want to set a hyperlink with this field, you can make use of URL field type. Refer below screenshots:

Thank you Amit!  I changed the field from HTML to URL and that solved it.

What change you performed? what value it was having earlier?
