Updation of the checkbox so that once the activity is completed, the checkbox is greyed

Hi All,

Currently working on UI builder. I have a requirement to update a checkbox when the activity is completed. Currently in 'In progress' state, the checkbox appears. Once we click and click on 'Continue' the activity completes and move to the next page. If we go back to previous, the checkbox is grayed out but unchecked.

I want the checkbox to be checked and grayed out once the activity is completed, and on reload also the it should stay checked and grayed out. However its not happening! Please help!!!
