User created from LDAP not able to login

Hi,

User created from LDAP import is not able to login. I have reset the password still it is showing username or password is invalid. Manually created user are able to login.

I have checked with the source field. I removed the data from the source field, then it is able to login. But source field is needed for automatic manager population so we can not remove the data. How source field is related to password? Is there any way around?

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Anasuya

glide.authenticate.external is the property to enable SSO authentication.   You'll want that one unchecked / false.

If you're fine with authenticating using your SSO's identity provider then go for it.   You normally would use a MID server with LDAP so your domain controller is accessed from behind your firewall.   I'm not sure what the wiki meant but it sounds like you got it worked out anyways.

And it is happening for all the user created by LDAP

If no one can login I would check to make sure the following property was checked:

System Properties >> LDAP >> Use LDAP for password authentication

This property is true

Also, make sure your Source field isn't getting truncated in the import.
