User Criteria on Widget Instance not working correctly

Hi, on a widget instance i have applied the user criteria "who can view" and "who cannot view".
I would like to give visibility only to external users, so I added the snc_external role to "who can view".
The result is that neither users with the snc_external nor snc_internal role can see the widget .
I tried to insert only the "who cannot view" snc_internal but I have the same result.
I also tried with "who can view" snc_external and "who cannot view" snc_internal together but the result does not change, both types of users do not see the widget.

I also tried with group, but result non changes.
Currently, the widget is either visible to everyone or not visible to anyone if i add user criteria.

How can I make the widget visible only to external users?

I think from the sp_instance you can use roles for instances:

Hi Joro, thanks for ur reply.

I tried ur solution but not worked for me, i don't know why... now i have another issue, i removed all the user criteria that i added to have a clean situation with this instance widget , but now external user cannot see the widget.

Can you show screenshots of the instance setup and the widget and the page holding the instance?
