Hi!
I cannot seem to make my custom application accessible to others. I am using Fuji version.
What I have done so far:
- I have custom application, App X, with an auto generated scope.
- I have created a global user role, App X user, and assigned the role to App X.
- I have added the same global user role to user, Beth (Global user).
- When I impersonated user Beth, user cannot access my custom application..
Questions:
1. How can I let other users access my custom app?
Kindly advise.

Hi Dalton,
Here is the process.
Go to the roles->Search for the global role->Now you will see the related list "Contain roles" and click on edit->Now search as x_ and you should be able to add.

Hi Pradeep Sharma,
That's the thing. I've navigated the same path but I cannot seem to find my custom roles in the related list you have mentioned. But when I EXPLICITLY searched the user, it suddenly appeared. So is this the expected behavior that custom roles are not automatically displayed in the Available roles and I need to search it?
Marketing Events Application User (Global Role) and x_10403_marketing_marketing_event_user (Custom role) defined in each scope
Marketing Events Application User (Global Role) Edit role
No x_10403_marketing_marketing_event_user (Custom role) in the collection
x_10403_marketing_marketing_event_user (Custom role) appeared when explicitly searched
Additional configurations done:
For each of the module present in the custom application, have updated the fields below:
- Accessible from: All application scopes
- Can read : Checked
- Allow access to this table via web access: checked
- Allow configuration: checked
Thanks for all the help!

Perfect . Thanks for the update.
In the available roles section there is a limit of records displayed. I am not really sure at this point of time if there is any property which will increase the limit of records displayed in the slushbucket.

HI Pradeep,
Thanks for the information. One quick question I have about roles. I know that if a person has let suppose itil role. And we want to add more roles, we go into ITIL and add more roles to that.
But it ITIL has 3 roles, and we are trying to give a user ITIL role, wouldnot he get itil plus the inherited roles (3)?
Thanks,
