User should be able to search for duplicate Invoice Number via Global search or alternative approach

How to search for duplicate invoice number in customer service Application, 

can somebody please help me on this, how can i achieve this.

Hi,

You can set up search groups for global search. Navigate to System Definition > Search groups
Inspect the existing ones, and then decide if you want to expand one of them, or create a new one.
