User with the necessary role cannot see the dashboard.

A user with the necessary role cannot see the dashboard even though I shared it to the correct role.

It gives me this when I impersonate as the user with the necessary role to view it.

Here's the config of the dashboard.

Am I missing something? Are there any roles I have to add on the cafe managers role for the user to view the dashboard?

@John Clyde Ap[as SO IN BOTH THE TBALES YOU NEED TO CHECK one of the table or may be both the tables acls might be restricting

see the below screenshots on how to check .

go to your table list view and right click on any of the columns and click on configure and then security rules

find_real_file.png

then do group by operation and there you can find report view acls

Hello @John Clyde Ap[as try logging out and again logging in as that user

@John Clyde Ap[as i think it works the reverse way so if you give the role in roles field then the user with that role will not have access as it says restrict to roles .

so make sure the user does not have that role which you gave in dashboard

Hello Mohith,

I have just removed the roles in the "restrict to" and I have tried refreshing the browser, and logging in and out as the user but it is still giving me the same outcome. It won't let me access it when I impersonate as the user with a manager role.

Current config:

update: I have tried it by sharing the dashboard to the specific role and when impersonating the user, the user can now see the dashboard but I still get this. Which ACL is it referring to and where can I find and edit it? find_real_file.png

@John Clyde Ap[as try going to dashboard and share it
