Users are editing change start date and end date from Conflict calender

Hi All,

Once the change is moved to Assess state, all the fields will be read only on the change form. But users are still be able to edit planned start and planned end dates from conflict calendar UI action button as shown below.

How to restrict that?

It’s a known issue in ServiceNow: even when Planned Start / Planned End are read only on the form or blocked by ACLs and Business Rules, users can still open the Conflict Calendar popup and edit them from there because the Change Request Calendar View doesn’t enforce those ACLs or BRs and allows editing despite write restrictions.....

Hi @kaushal_snow Can we restrict this through UI Action? can we give roles in required roles tab so that we can restrict users from updating through conflict calendar?

This is expected behavior, although we can consider it a known issue or bug. You can log a case with ServiceNow to see if they can provide any input or feedback on it.

I want to know is there any possiblity to restrict the ability to update the date/time in the calendar itself.
