Using Carousel Widget for Something Other Than Images

Hi All,
I am just throwing this out there, not really a "how to" question, but more of a "have you ever" question. Is anyone using the Carousel widget or anything like it, to display information from a table or set of documents within ServiceNow? For example, having a carousel/slider to display a set of articles in a particular Knowledge base, something like announcements. It's seems like it should be possible, just curious before I head down this road if anyone has done this and may be able to share any issues/hurdles they have encountered.

I did not, I ended up going a different route. Still would be useful if you ever find a solution though.

We're using carousel widget to display announcements at the top, instead of displaying the announcement banner. With carousel we can use pagination and scroll through announcements instead of having to expand them one by one.
