Hello
We have added a new variable to the existing variable set. The new variable which has been added to the Variable set is not showing in the catalog task form. I have checked that the variable set is not added through flows.
Could anyone help how the variable can be made visible in the catalog task.
Thanks in advance for your help
Thanks,
Bhavani.

Looks all good here. Did you publish the workflow? or you are checking the right flow?
Try to clear the cache.do and then check.
Or try to add another variable and check , just to reproduce this issue.

I think you missed my yesterday's comment.
the new variable will be visible only on new catalog tasks generated after activating the flow and not on the older catalog tasks which were created before adding this variable to the variable set or before creating the variable itself

HI @Bhavani13
@Brad Bowman said correctly in workflow you need to add this in catalog task activity. or you are saying it is not showing even on Catalog item on Portal?

are you saying the new variable should be seen on older catalog tasks i.e. tasks created before creating the variable in variable set?
if yes then that's not possible, although I think it can be done via scripting but I won't recommend that.
For any new catalog item submitted after addition of that variable the variable needs to be added in Catalog task activity or flow action

Hi All,
we found the solution for this issue. We missed to set the Global field to True for the variable.
Thank you for the response.
Thanks
Bhavani.
