Variable editor not visible on catalog task form for some requests. Could it be ACL related issue? I checked the form layout and it seems fine

You need to specify for each variable where it will be shown when it comes to catalog task records. I don't think it's ACL-related but likely specifying in the workflow or variable config that the variable should be displayed on that task. This post explains what to check for.

Hi Ravish,
On the Variable configuration there is a "Global" checkbox (you might need to add it to the form layout) , set it to true and you should be able to see the Variable in the Catalog task.
Hope this helps !!
