View map for Application Service

What is the [View map] button displayed on the form screen of the Application Service table for?
I just used the [Convert to Application Services] button to convert a Service to a Mapped Appllication Service, and the View map was displayed.
However, when I converted the Service to a Mapped Application Service without using this button, the View map was not displayed.

I converted it using the method in the link below.

However, the CI Relationship record does exist.
Isn't the View map a button to check the relationship with CI?

HI @miyu

The Service Map will be updated only when you convert a Business service to Application Service using "Convert to Application Service" button. It's not recommended to change the class of the Service directly to App Service. Only during the conversion thru the UI action, system will add Service to CI association (svc_ci_assoc table) and Service Map will be visible with all CI relationships associated with the service.

You have an option to select the no. of levels during conversion, you can choose from 1 to 8. For example: if you want your Service Map to display upto 5 level deep CI relationships, then select the level to 5.

You can start with less number of levels and depends on your Service Map usage, you can increase/decrease the levels later using "Update Changes with CMDB" UI action.
