I'd like to setup a view rule for the default view for just one particular role.
If the user has X role they will get the default view.
Is there an easy way to do this?

They have the role. There is a script includes that also controls access but I don't see anything view specific and this is a new role created just for this purpose.

Is the view name correct?
answer = "default view";}
Shouldn't it be just default?

I tried both ways but it says Default view when I look at it

I created a new view and I can see more but it's being controlled by something else. I think the script includes for security.
