Virtual agent conversation does not stop

Hi,

 

I'm working on ServiceNow AI Agents, where I connected my AI Agent to the virtual agent in the virtual agent designer. Everything is working like the agent is creating a defect record. The issue I'm facing is after creating the record, the conversation do not end, I keep on getting the text like the agent is running or ai agent tool is running (please refer to the attached screenshot) until I manually end the conversation.

 

Please let me know where I'm going wrong

What does the thought log look like on the right side?

 

If the conversation doesn't end and the tools have stopped execution, that likely can be solved with prompt instruction indicating closure. If the tool is still running, then you probably have an issue in your VA topic.

Hi Warren,

 

I tested this in the Virtual Agent Designer and confirmed that no new logs were created after the defect record was inserted into the table. However, the conversation continued, as shown in the screenshot. Where can I add the closure prompt? The AI Agent itself is working correctly.
