Visual cue of highlighted text missing accessing ServiceNow through newer Edge/Chrome browsers

Outside of the URL and the global search, the rest of the pages' visual cue that they are highlighted/selected cannot be seen.

The UI script appears to be working for us.

Here are my test results for the UI script. It almost fixes the issue.

BEFORE THE SCRIPT:

Working:

• portals
• workspaces
• developer tools/"studios"

What does not work:

• dashboards
• forms
• reports
• all agile screens as the do today
• lists
• surveys
• visual task board home

AFTER THE SCRIPT:

Working:

• forms
• lists
• reports
• all agile screens as the do today
• portals
• workspaces

• developer tools/"studios"

I will be updating our case with this. So we still need the patch, but this helps a lot!
