Hello Backlinks,

Are you talking about Next Experience UI?
You can disable and enable it using this system property:

"glide.ui.polaris.experience"

Hope this helps!

Please, don't forget to mark my answer as correct if it solves your issue or mark it as helpful if it is relevant for you!

Yes, you can make it user specific

Changing between Next UI and UI16 at User Level

  • Assumptions: Users are on San Diego +
  • Impact: upgrade Instances missing default system parameter. New Installs are ok

**By default System property glide.ui.polaris.on_off_user_pref_enabled is not resident within the system properties list**

1) Login as Admin and ensure application is set to “global”

2) Navigate to sys_properties.LIST

3) In NAME search box type glide.ui.polaris.

4) Click New in upper right corner

5) Fill in the fields in screenshot below as shown making sure Application reflects “Global”

            For Visual Ease:

 *Name - glide.ui.polaris.on_off_user_pref_enabled

Description – Enable or Disable Unified Navigation from User Preference

 Choices - <leave Blank>

 Type – Select dropdown true|false

 Value - true

6) Click SUBMIT

7) Verify new parameter is in the list then refresh each screen

😎 Verify option is now visible by selecting Profile in upper right; then preferences in the dropdown; then

     Display
