What are the development use cases in UI Builder, Service Operations workspaces?

I am new to UI Builder, Service Operations workspaces, Configurable workspaces.

I have experience on ITSM, HRSD modules.

Now I got the chance to work on UI Builder, Service Operations workspaces, Configurable workspaces. I have  few days time to start on this. So, before starting need to know documentations, some real time use cases, development work that I need to do, etc.

Please help me on this.
