What are the different story intake processes you have come across?
Did you allow end users/business users to create stories (via Enhancement module , using a catalog item for example)?

I understand there are many approvals involved, which means you need to review that and ensure new requests are routed directly to the BA. It also depends on who the users of this catalog item are — is it for anyone, or just the PO, demand, or project team?
My suggestion is to reduce the number of approvals or add the BA as the first-level approver, then route tasks to move forward.
Practically, it all depends on your process and client needs. Often, a request gets stuck in approval or takes too long to reach the market.

@Suggy We use catalog items to allow our business users create stories, we have an approval flow which allows these stories to be reviewed and approved before they reach to the technical team for their review.

@Sandeep Rajput Is it a catalog item or record producer? I was thinking of creating a record producer pointing out to Enhancement table.

@Suggy If your process involves a flow/workflow which runs behind the scene then the catalog item should be used. If you are okay with creating a record directly on the target table then you can create a record producer.
