We are looking to understand how to give back control to users to choose which page they see when they log in.
Unfortunately, we can't seem to find the property/preference/script that controls which redirects the page by default. Current observation seems to be that certain users(I guess depending on role) are redirected to the Service Operations Workspace, others, to Dashboards. The rest are the non-itil users, which are directed to the Service Portal.
For itil, a user preference, my_home_navigation_page can be created to override the page. That doesn't give the option to programmatically determine homepages using roles, etc., though.
Is there a script that controls these, so we can read and understand how to determine which Workspace a user gets? Also, is there a way to force a default when opening Dashboards, instead of 'last viewed'?
