Hi everyone,
I’m working in a CSM environment and need some clarification around consumer creation rules.
Right now, the csm_consumer table restricts creating new consumers when the email value already exists on another consumer record.
For a specific business requirement, I need to allow duplicates, but I can’t determine where the restriction originates.
I’ve already checked for client scripts, business rules, and dictionary constraints on the email field, but I’m not finding anything that explicitly enforces uniqueness. I’m also aware there may be CSM plug-ins or platform-level logic that handle consumer uniqueness behind the scenes.
