The latest guesstimation is Issues, Problems, and Threats, but I want the official stamp on this.
Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
Is IPT as a prefix only used in Incident records or are used in any other modules as well like change or knowledge as if the same has been used in these modules then I doubt that IPT will stand for Issues, Problems & Threats as it will not reflect the true purpose of the Change and Knowledge modules.
Better would be to ask to the person and get to know the reason for it who added this prefix in the number maintenance system. You can check those details in the number maintenance system table.
If you are satisfied with the above information ,then please do mark correct/helpful and like it.
Regards/Vishal

Jeff, old question, but still relevant at least to me as this hasn't been sufficiently answered. I'm posturing Issues and Problem Tracking. But who knows 🤣

Hi,
I had a same question. In schema map, sn_grc_issues table extends planned_task table. Just based on this, I am guessing it could be "Issues & Planned Tasks".
Happy Holidays !!!!!!
Thanks
