What happens if I set Web access only to TRUE?

What is Web access only in the sys_user table?
I am thinking of setting Web access only to TRUE for guest users and users created for sending reports.
Are there any concerns?

Hi

Please check this document for Web access only function.

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-platform-administration/page/administer/users-and-groups/concept/c_NonInteractiveSessions.html#c_NonInteractiveSessions

Hope this information helpful for you.

Cheers.

Thank you for your response.
Are you sure there are no other concerns other than not being able to log in via ServiceNowUI?
For example, User A is set to Run as in Scheduled Email of Report, but by setting Web access only to TRUE, does that prevent the email from being sent?

Hello,

I believe you are asking about 'Web service access only' in user table. If yes then here is the answer.

The purpose of this is described in below document.

User account or service account? What to use for web service tasks

Non-interactive sessions

In short, user that has this field set to true cannot login via ServiceNow UI. Such users are mainly used for integrations.
