Hi Vikas,
Charge back is a term used to allow IT (or any other shared services) bill their costs back to a department or customer. You can set a certain labor rate and track how much time your staff spends on each type of service to help rationalize their costs.
Where are you seeing this in ServiceNow? I haven't run across it yet and am interesting in digging in further.
Thank you

Hello Chuck, I have the same question. Is there something in ServiceNow that can easily facilitate chargeback for IT orders?

I know this post is a little old now - but posting if anyone out there has a similar need. I work for Proven Optics and we have an application built on the ServiceNow store for this use case: Proven Optics | Billing & IT Cost Recovery
Our application can use any dataset on your ServiceNow instance that you grant permission to and is also capable of ingesting external files. Rates can be set per service or item billed and invoices are produced for payment - all directly on the platform. We have implemented this with many large organizations and public sector entities with great success. If you have any other questions on functionality or how it works, feel free to reach out for more information!
