Hello everyone! I know this may be a bit of a biased question since I am asking in the ServiceNow Community. I have been a ServiceNow Developer at a healthcare company since January 2024. I was previously a ServiceNow Business Analyst at this same company from May 2022 - January 2024. I absolutely love working on the Platform and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer & Data Science. I love learning and constantly expanding my skill set at every chance I get. My main question is this: What is the career outlook/growth for a ServiceNow Developer? With a Computer & Data Science background, does it make sense to expand my skillset outside of the Platform to remain versatile and in-demand?
Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!

The career growth and roadmap for a developer is always bright. You can /are
jr developer --> Sr. Developer --> Solution consultant --> Solution Architect --> Platform Architect
But to achieve all this important is to keep learning. Make sure you increase your portfolio to other products like ITSM / CSM/ HRSD/ GRC as well.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thank you so much for the valuable information! It is incredibly interesting to see the general roadmap that a developer ends up taking.

There are jobs for your skills, see LinkedIn and Indeed sites. And there is the 'Servicenow Jobs' forum here.
