Short answer - no. Not all data types on standard forms are available for catalog items.

Thanks Chuck, I'm trying to figur out how I can have 'Embedded list' style on a catalog form, if this is not ideal, please can you advise any alternatives?
I have asked this here: Catalog Item: Create 'Related List' style with 'insert new row' feature, possible?
