What is the function of the new "Conversational label" field in the item_option_new table?

Hello All,
I would like to understand the functionality of the "Conversational label" field created in the item_option_new table?

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

It is available in Washington patch 9

I'm also curious about this - I see it is now an option through the Catalog Builder. I entered details but couldn't see any functional difference when populated.

It's used by Virtual Agent but looks to me that it's a feature used in Xanadu in the Conversational Catalog even though the field is already available in Washington..
