In a customer development instance, there is an ESignatureUtils script include that is not present in our production instance. This appears to impact approvals, specifically when attempting to list-edit approvals.
I have found the below scripts also appear to be added/related. There is no version history for these scripts so that provides no indication that these were added from a patch/update. If anyone can tell me what plugin adds these scripts it would be greatly appreciated.
Scripts:
ESignatureUtils (script include)
ESignatureAuthUtils (script include)
ESigPromptChecker (script include)
IsApprovalMineChecker (script include)
form_login_validate_dialog (ui page)
saml2_esignature_login (ui page)

Go to a list view of script includes and add the "Package" column, to see which plugin each come from.

Search with id -Id: com.snc.esign and com.glide.e_signature_approvals for approvals with e-signature.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.

Approvals with e-Signature is the plugin (com.glide.e_signature_approvals). This creates the ESignatureUtils script as well as the other scripts cited.
I assumed the e-Signatures must be part of a larger plugin. Nope.
The com.snc.esign plugin appears to be specific to Human Resources.
