What user role required to update work notes?

Hi,

I am trying to update the work notes on the incident by making rest call.The user has all type of SOAP access like SOAP update, SOAP query, SOAP and I have created ACL having soap role can write into the incident.work_notes.But still not able to update.

When I am using admin account it works fine.

it needs itil role to do so

Hi

This depends on the write ACLs defined the for field.

Out of the box this will require an "itil" role
