What value does an approving field take in a flow designer?

Hi Everyone, 

i'm creating an approval record from 'create a record' action i do not wish to use 'create approval' action.
What do i fill in approving field?

Hi @kartikey ,

You can go with "Ask for Approval action" Action instead!!

Hi @Community Alums , actually we've created a custom table from approval table hence we're not using 'Ask for approval' action as that would create records in approval table, hence coming back to my question, what value does this approving field take as it's a document ID?

1. The Approving field is shown when an approval for a user or group is set through a workflow.
2. Approval for field is visible only when a manual approval is added to a request.

Hi @Community Alums  , but we are not creating a manual approval record. then what value do we fill in this field? i'm trying to trigger it via a flow designer.
