When i search for catalog items in the esc portal, it is showing catalog item record as suggestions

When I search for a catalog item, it shows a suggested item, and if I select it, it opens the Maintain Item Catalog Item record. How do I disable this?

My requirements are different. If I make the AI search indexed source-catalog item table inactive, no catalog items are fetched, and it shows as "no results found." I don't want to show the maintain item catalog item record under the suggested search. Can you please help me to achieve it.

If the indexed source is inactive, it may be related to an issue that was solved in VP8 & WP2. If you are running these versions and still have an issue, please submit a support case.

"Maybe related?" The AI search is complete garbage. The fact this basic functionality still hasn't be resolved shows how bad SN development has become, as I even see cat items, belonging to other Catalogs in the search results which should not happen. And now, where there was a simple fix to limit what was returned, SN has created a nightmare to try and resolve, which by the way still no one has tried to explain how to fix. Just look how many people want a resolution to this!
As the last time I checked, there's no agreement for customers to do SN bug resolution as I'm sick of having to contact HI support only to do the bug replication and fault finding which SN should be doing, but then be told that it's not going to fixed after it all.
Extremely poor "Next UI" experience.
