please specify the requirement, you put it into subject instead of the description field, and thus it didn't fit the complete text.

 

You want to create some fields mandatory/visible under specific conditions:

- create UI Policy >select a table, then create conditions:

table: incident, conditions: category is hardware,

then below in the related tab there are UI Policy Actions and you select the desired field and their attributes - visible, mandatory, read-only...

 

another option is Client script, but that requires coding, above method is no-code, which is always preferrable.
