Where did ServiceNow get their time zone list? I can't seem to match my locations to the time zones they have.

I have locations all over the world.  For instance Abu Dhabi who's time zone according to www.timeanddate.com is Gulf Standard Time is not an option from the time zones in ServiceNow.  If I could find out where they came up with their time zone naming convention I might have a slight chance of matching them up.

Does anyone know?

There are a lot of time zones in the time zone field of the user profile that are inactive by default. You can activate other ones if you need to: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/geneva-servicenow-platform/page/administer/time/task/t_ChangeTheTimeZoneChoiceList.html
