why does my UI policy not work

I want to hide a variable set when a check box is "false" aka not selected.
but its not working, this above is my ui policy

Did you try :
g_form. setDisplay('VARIABLE_SET_NAME',false);
Make sure the field is not set mandatory. you'll need to handle the containers in the variable set with their own line of code to set their visibility.

Yes you can go to the VaraibleSet and configure this UI policy for this variableSet variables. Not on Catalog item level.

IS the "finner_ikke_person" set to false or true be default when opening the catalogue item?
