Why I am getting double values for the "state" field when I tried to filter state field in report.

The state field is from task table.it show double Review, Respond, Closed cancelled...etc,.

Could you please let me know the why it behaving like and what is the reason

How we can avoid duplicate values in state filed.

Are you getting same issue in list view as well? or form ?

I am getting the same issue on list view as well, but in the form state field would be read- only.

Check the choices in State field, via dictionary entry.  Might be someone added by mistake.

I have checked the choices in State field, via dictionary entry nothing is added in that table. but when i filtered with issue table on the dictionary, i am getting the following result
