When the user searches in the typeahead search widget, only service catalog options appear, and no knowledge articles.
If we press enter, and complete the search the knowledge articles DO appear on the search page.
I'd like for them to also show on the typeahead widget.
Any help appreciated.

Thank you for your response. I have looked at both threads. My issue is that the knowledge isn't showing to begin with. Those articles may be helpful to me after I get it to appear. When I type anything is the search bar, it only shows typeahead options for the Service Catalog and none for the knowledge articles.

Do you have Search source configured in your instance.
I guess the issue is with search source.

Found our issue. It was with the Search Sources. We did not have the latest version search source after upgrading. We got it updated, and now you can see knowledge articles in the type-ahead widget on the SP homepage. Thanks for your help!
