Will Creating an Application File for Updated Records Cause Duplicates

Hello Community,

I previously created an application file for some table records. If I update these records and then use the "Create Application File" menu again for the updated records, will this action update the previous application file or create duplicates?

I tested in my PDI, and the records created in the 'sys_metadata' table from the UI action were updated, not duplicated. I suspect the same will happen for you,

Duplicates? No. Why? Because the records will have the same sys_id, so it will update or ignore.
