Can someone assist with the following.

I have business rules setup that will change the state of parent tasks.

The state could be changed to one of a few different values based on different conditions.

The above is working as expected.

Now I would like to add an info message at the top of a work order task when the Parent.initiated_from.state changes.

In this case the parent is a Work Order and the Initiated From is a Catalog Task.

Hi @Community Alums 

That is not possible.

- We can't show message on one form based on the field changes on other form, Also,the user may or maynot be on the form when state changes

You can add a worknote or comment when state changes so that when user opens the record, they can view in activity.
