Workspace view is different when new record is created from related table

Hello all,

I have come across a unique issue and could not find any answers nor could I figure this out on my own. Here is the background:

I have two separately scoped applications Scoped App A and Scoped App B. I have created reference from Scoped App B table to Scoped App A and have linked them together. The relation is 1 scoped app A record could have many related scoped app b records. But scoped app B record can also be independent. Then I have created related list on Scope App A table to view and create new records on the Scope App B table.

Both apps have custom workspaces. On the scoped app B workspace, I use the record page in UIB and have added stepper, form, and some other components like containers, texts, buttons, etc. When I create a new record from scope app B workspace, all of these components show up just like how I want to. But the issue comes in when I go Scope App A Workspace --> Open/Create Record in app A --> Go to related list (this shows related records from app B) --> When I open any related records or click on New button to create a new record on scope app B table, it shows me different view without the extra components that I added such as stepper, containers, texts, etc.

Furthermore I have created parent to child relation to its own scope app B table (Scope App B --> Scope App B reference). When this related list shows up for scope app B record, and when I try to create or view record all within the same workspace and within same scoped app B, everything works just fine. This seems to be a problem related to crossing the scope boundary.

I have configured workspace view rule to force users from scope app A to go to a specific view on Scope App B but that is not working either.

Any ideas on where I should be looking?
