my instance (dev396671) is down, can anyone assist to see why it when offline?  I have a banner at the tope: Instance Offline: Recovery may take long. You can wait, or release it now to request a new one.

I don't want to release the instance, I didn't get a chance to backup the progress I made on integrations.  Please Advise or help.

Hi,

I understand this can be frustrating, especially if you had work saved on the PDI. But don’t panic immediately.PDI can sometime go offline due to inactivity, maintenance or temporary platform issues.

I’ve seen cases where the instance comes back online automatically after a day or two, so it’s worth waiting and checking again.

If it still stays offline and you don’t see any recovery option, then the practical option may be to release the instance and request a new one.

I’d strongly recommend keeping backups using Update Sets or saving important scripts/configurations separately. This helps avoid losing work if the PDI becomes unavailable again.

Hope your instance comes back online soon🤞.

If this helps, please mark it as helpful.

Hi @mrlauteren

In short - nobody can help as PDI comes without support. Only option is to wait till it comes online or release and request a fresh installation.

Hello @mrlauteren ,

I started seeing the same behavior today. As soon as I open my PDI.

I'd recommend waiting 1–2 hours and trying again. If it's still stuck, raise an issue through the Developer Portal Support, as the instance may require intervention from the ServiceNow team.

As of now my pdi is back in working condition.

If my response helped mark as helpful and accept the solution.

Hello @mrlauteren ,

This appears to be an internal issue on the ServiceNow side, so I'd recommend being patient while they resolve it.

I experienced the same issue with my PDI. It went into hibernation and displayed the same message you're seeing. After some time, it came back online and recovered automatically. Interestingly, it happened again yesterday, but my instance was back online today without any action from my side.

Hopefully, your PDI will also recover once the issue is resolved. In the meantime, I'd suggest waiting for ServiceNow to restore the instance.

If this helps you then mark it as helpful and accept as solution.

Regards,

Aditya
