Filters in REST calls?

How do you set up a filter in the Query Parameter section of a REST Data Source Request? I've got a connection to a SQL Server database that works fine to pull all of the records in the table, but I need to limit that. I haven't been able to figure out how to construct the filter for the REST call. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pravan,

Unfortunately none of those articles were helpful. I found another Data Source action that had a filter in it and was able to work out how to do what I needed. I would still like to find some documentation on the syntax used for the filters.

Hi,

You can use a data pill in the Query Parameter value for any query parameters described in the external API.

Query parameters may contain different types of values.

  • Encoded queries
  • Field name(s)
  • true/false/all

Refer below screenshot for data pill.

Hope it helps!!
