Sync comments/work notes from RITM to Jira

Hello!

 

I want to capture work notes/comments from a RITM into Jira Issue ticket using flow designer. I’m using the Service Catalog as a trigger on the flow and use the Jira Spoke - Add Comment, but get and error stating “comment cannot be empty”.

We need more information (screenshots, errors, flow implementation) to help you.

I'm using the Jira spoke to synchronize comments between ServiceNow and Jira without errors.

Please, share more information here.

Hello!  I'm trying to get readable worknotes back from Jira comments since nothing was coming into the journal type field of work_notes.  I have created a new string field to place the comments, but they look like this instead of just the comments entered:

Any help on making this readable for end users would be appreciated!


I have successfully gotten short description to update from summary, but what we really need are comments and work notes.
