Create Release Action in Flow - Product on action number # is mandatory and must be filled in.

Hi dear Community,

I am witnessing an issues with the "Create release" Action in the Digital Product Release application. My requirement is to automate the creation of a release by flow after a Business Application was inserted. Thus I am waiting for the Model ID to be filled (using an ootb schedule job) and afterwards I take the Model ID for the product, the IT Application Owner as the Release Owner, the name of the business app as release name and version is always 1.0. The Flow works just fine when I test it in the Workflow Studio. However, when I am trying to activate the flow I always receive the error message

"Product on action number # is mandatory and must be filled in. A version was not created due to the error"

By now I have tried the following "solutions"

- create the flow in global

- copy the ootb action

- setting the field not mandatory in copied action

- using different look ups to get right to the cmdb_model

- recreating the flow on a completely different instance 

- leaving product empty

- putting in static product model

- followed the Support guide which suggested clicking done before activating the flow

None of these steps helped to find a proper solution to activate the flow. And just activating it in the list did set it on activate however it wasn't working in the end either.

Is someone else having the same issue and has a proper solution for it?
